Faith 1

I am going to start with the Faith value, then maybe jump ahead to the virtue value.  Here's my first task- "The first principle of the gospel is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Learn about faith from the scriptures and living prophets.  Read Hebrews 11; Alma 32:17-43; Ether 12:6-22; and Joseph Smith-History 1:11-20.  Read two general conference talks on faith.  Exercise your own faith by establishing a habit of prayer in your life.  Begin by regularly saying your morning and evening prayers."  Report after three weeks, expressing my feelings about faith and prayer.

Returning to Personal Progress

Some of you, on the first time you happen across this blog, might wonder why I have the old Young Women's Medallion in my header.  The explanation is simple, but worth explaining to avoid confusion.  I am twenty-seven, almost twenty-eight years old.  I am currently going through some transitions in my life and thought it might be a good idea to revisit the Personal Progress process.  After all, this program has wonderful direction, will help me improve myself, and help me grow closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  I will be working on the current Personal Progress goals, unless I state otherwise.  I also hope to research into the history of the Personal Progress program and share my findings on this blog.  I welcome your feedback and memories as I embark on this new adventure of personal growth.
